The name ‘Northwoods STaR Ministries’ was chosen because our churches are nestled in Wisconsin’s north woods. Just as this area has many varieties of trees, we have four unique congregations and many members, all of whom are faithfully rooted in Christ. “STaR” stands for Small Town and Rural, and this image reminds us of the star of Bethlehem, drawing us to Jesus. Our parish is united through many ministries and is open to finding new ways to reach out to our communities, sharing God’s love.
Our Sunday morning worship services are for people of all ages. Northwoods STaR Ministries uses the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal for songs and liturgy and follows a traditional service style.
We have begun to record our services for those who cannot make it to the regular worship times. Please join us in watching our online worship service each week.
